Luis Alfonso Rodríguez López-CeperoPuerto Rican singer. He was born on April 15, 1978 in San Juan (Puerto Rico). 
He has two younger brothers, Jean and Tatiana. With only three years imitated to the singers of the group Menudo.
He moved with his family to Orlando, Florida, where he joined Dr. Phillips High School. There he created a music group with fellow students from the institute. He entered Florida State University to study theory, solfeggio, musical appreciation, singing and composition.
Fonsi's career began in 1998, when he released his first album, Comenzaré. This album reaches a great success, placing in the top of sales mainly in the Latin American countries, and obtaining the gold disc.
In 2001 he released his second album, Eterno, which achieved the same success as the first and also achieved a gold record.
Fonsi is still working on new albums but also acts on television and acts all over the world. Then appears the secret love album, which a few months later also launched in English with the title of Fight the Feeling, achieving a great success in the United States. At the end of 2003 was published Abrazar la vida, an album with more Latin rhythms.
Its theme The strength of my heart, was part of the original band of the animated cartoon film El Cid. In 2005 publishes Step by Step. In 2006 he released his first album of hits: Successes 98:06, a compilation of his best songs. In 2008 Words of Silence was published, a record that enjoyed the same success as the previous albums. Tierra Firme, his new album, was released on June 28, 2011 after a year and a half of work and after writing more than 125 songs of the Which were selected 10 for the disc. On March 25, 2014, his video Corazón en la Suit, the first single from his new album, titled 8, was released on May 19 of the same year.
In January of 2017, he presented the song Despacito along with Daddy Yankee with a video recorded in Puerto Rico. The issue had worldwide repercussion and was an immediate success. On April 17, 2017, he released a remix with Justin Bieber.
